Planning our meals is one technique that takes the stress out of preparing dinner these days. For example, when I fry bangus, I double the amount consumed in one meal. We eat the fried fish for dinner with vegetable sides such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kawalingpinoy.com\/pinakbet\/\">pinakbet<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kawalingpinoy.com\/ginataang-gulay\/\">ginataang gulay<\/a>, and I turn the leftovers into a brand new dish for lunch by adding tomatoes and tausi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These methods have saved my sanity on many occasions! They are sold either in dry form, which needs to be rehydrated in water, or packed in brine, which needs to be rinsed and drained to eliminate excess saltiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These pungent-tasting fermented soybeans are essential in many Asian sauces and condiments, such as black bean sauce and chili dou-chi oil. Add tomatoes and cook until softened and release juices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add fish sauce. Add water and allow to a simmer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add black beans and simmer until liquid is slightly reduced. .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add fried fish and continue to simmer until fully cooked and coated with sauce.
